Introduction
The one-stop solution for holistic fitness and wellness
Cult.fit is a top fitness brand that combines workouts, mental wellness, and nutrition into a holistic health solution. With diverse classes and a strong digital and physical presence, it makes well-being accessible and enjoyable for all.

Problem

Nutritional features are not integrated into the current version of the app
Adding nutritional features will enhance user engagement by providing a complete health solution, allowing users to track both workouts and diet in one place. This integration encourages frequent app use and helps users achieve their fitness goals more effectively.

Goal
Building an experience that unites your healthy journey in one space
This feature allows user to track everything in one place, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps for different activities. By creating a seamless experience, it encourages higher engagement and can significantly contribute to the app's overall growth.

Understanding the User
To gain deeper insights into user needs and behaviours, user
interviews were conducted with active cult.fit members.
Research Questions:
1) What is their fitness level?
2) If they use the app on a daily basis and for
what purpose?
3) Whether they track their daily food intake?
4) How they are tracking it?
5) How do they prefer to log their meal(by searching,
scanning taking a photo or manually)?
6) If this new feature is introduced, will they use it?
7) If they are facing any challenges currently?

CHALLENGE
Creating a Reliable Food Database
To successfully integrate nutrition tracking into the cult.fit
ecosystem, building a comprehensive backend database is
essential. This database will serve as the foundation for
logging meals, tracking macros and delivering personalised
dietary recommendations. Without a dependable food data
system, the nutrition feature will lack accuracy, scalability
and user trust.

Information Architecture

Initial Brainstorming
Initial round of brainstorming was done in order to understand the layout
and how the UI of the app might look and feel, helping me to shape the
early ideas for the design.

Low Fidelity
Here the goal was to quickly explore different layout ideas and design options,
focusing on visual hierarchy and how easily users could navigate between pages.

High Fidelity

Home Screen
The home screen of the cult.fit app introduces users to the
track.fit. A clear "Explore Now" button guides users to start
their journey towards healthier eating alongside fitness.

Welcome Screen
A welcome screen to greet the users, introduce the feature or
the app, offering a clear call-to-action to kickstart their journey.

Home Screen(track.fit)
Track.fit home screen provides a snapshot of your
daily nutrition insights, allowing you to log your
current and target weight based on your health
goals. It also helps you stay hydrated by tracking
your daily water intake.

Meal Tracking
The food tracking screen lets you easily log meals and monitor
your daily intake. It provides a breakdown of calories and
macros to help you stay on top of your nutrition goal.

Individual Meal Screen
This screen displays detailed nutritional information for a selected
meal, including calories and macro breakdown, helping users log
their intake accurately.

Statistics
The statistics screen provides weekly, monthly and yearly insights
along with the achievements that help build a sense of
accomplishment and keep users motivated in their health journey.

Streaks
The streaks screen keeps track of your consecutive days of
logging meals and staying on track-motivating the users to
build healthy habits, one day at a time.

Notifications
Notification plays a key role in helping users stay consistent with
their nutrition journey. With busy lifestyles, it's easy to forget to
log meals and track water intake. Timely reminders ensures users
stay on top of their goals, making healthy habits feel effortless and
integrated into their daily routine.

My Learnings
This project taught me how deeply user feedback influences meaningful redesign. Understanding the needs of existing users is
essential—it's not just about making things look better, but about making the experience fell better. We realised the importance
of retaining a brand's design language when working on extensions, ensuring visual and functional consistency while still
improving usability.
From structuring a user-friendly interface to crafting motivating notifications, i realised how even the smallest design decisions—
like color choices, button placements or page flow carry significance. Every element should have a reason to exist. This journey
reinforced that design is not just about creating systems but also telling stories that users connect with. It is this balance of
structure and emotion that truly elevates the user experience,
