BOOK NEST
Escape The Digital, Embrace the Pages...
RESEARCH
With the rapid rise of digital technology, people are dedicating more time to screens and online content, often at the expense of traditional reading. This shift has reduced opportunities for quiet, reflective engagement with books as digital distractions dominating everyday life.

Where?

CAFES

Most people visit in groups or pairs and those who come alone are often occupied with meetings or work, reducing the likelihood of them using the book service frequently

RAILWAY STATIONS

High footfall and lack of controlled access can lead to issues like theft, damage or loss of books hence making it difficult to sustain and manage efficiently
AIRPORTS

Large number of idle travelers who have significant waiting time, making them more likely to engage with the service as a productive and enjoyable way to pass time
Airports often have long waiting hours with few engaging alternatives. Unlike cafes or railway stations, they provide a unique opportunity to make reading a spontaneous and enriching activity. Travellers frequently look for ways to disconnect from screens but struggle due to limited options. With a diverse audience and high footfall, airports offer great reach and accessibility.

User Journey
How it will work?

Arjun arrived at the bustling airport, wheeling his suitcase towards the entrance. The energy of the travellers and the hum of the rolling luggage filled the air. He moved through crowd, ready for his journey ahead.
After entering, Arjun headed straight to the airline counter. The check-in area was crowded so he waited for his turn. When he finally reached the counter, he handed over his suitcase, feeling a sense of relief as he lightened his load.

With his baggage dropped off, Arjun received his boarding pass. As he checked his details, something unexpected caught his eye - an advertisement for BOOK NEST which was a book service within an airport. The idea sparked his curiosity, and the prospect of discovering books to fill the waiting hours before his flight filled him with excitement.
Keeping BOOK NEST in mind, Arjun proceeded to the security checkpoint. The process was smooth and after clearing the security, he pulled out his boarding pass again to review the direction for the Book Nest. Determined to find the service, he began navigating through the terminal.

As Arjun walked past the shops and bustling cafes, he followed the navigation system mentioned in the boarding pass. The airport was lively but his focus remained on the promise of finding the good book. With each step, his anticipation grew until he finally spotted the cozy corner of Book Nest in the distance.
Upon arriving, Arjun was greeted by shelves filled with a wide variety of books. The inviting atmosphere drew him in. He began browsing the collection, looking through the various titles of the book. One book in a particular caught his attention. He picked it up, read the summary and without hesitation decided to purchase it.
